Why did I Create This?

Being in full time ministry for 7 years, I saw some amazing things!  We saw a powerful move of God and people’s lives transformed.  We launched multiple locations and started a worship movement that has gone around the world.  Yet through that season and in my travels, I noticed a recurring theme.  The majority of Christians didn’t know who they were or why they were put on this earth.  Nor did they know how to figure it out!  “Houston, we have a problem!”  During my 7th year in ministry, I personally hit a wall going through one of the darkest times of my life, beginning with my brother committing suicide.  As a result, I went on a sabbatical to seek the Lord and to recharge.  It was during that season that the “I Am Journey” was born.  I noticed how Jesus had 7 ‘I Am statements’, which meant He knew who He was.  He knew His purpose of why He was here, and He had a plan to execute it, all while in relationship with the Father.  I also saw those who were confident in who God had made them to be, knowing their God given purposes.  They were living on Fire for God, doing great exploits like Jesus!  Jesus came to give us life and life abundantly, and I truly believe it’s connected to knowing who you are in Christ, what your purpose is, and then how to walk that out in relationship with God, destroying the works of the devil like He did! 

Why is it called the I Am Journey? 

God is the great I Am and we believe that life is a journey!  As you journey into the heart of God, He reveals to you your identity and purpose as stated in Colossians 3:1.  It is a double entendre.  The journey to know the Great I Am will revel to you who 'You Are' and why you are on the earth.  We believe that it will be a life long journey of relationship, discovery, and adventure.

What is the I Am Journey?

It is a 6 module process and journey into the heart of God to discover your identity and destiny! We are going to look at some practical and simple ways to hear the voice of God and ask KEY questions to discover how He designed you for destiny! In it you will discover your God given identity to give you unshakable confidence.  You will uncover the God design of how He knit you together while you were in your mother’s womb.  Discover the hidden gifts of your weaknesses!  Gain understanding of why you are on this earth by having  your destiny revealed and then develop a plan to walk it out in relationship with God to be able to do the exceedingly, abundantly, more than you ask, think, or imagine!

Who is this for?

This is for believers in Jesus who want to grow in relationship with God to discover their God given identity, their destiny.  From there, they will develop a plan to walk that out.  The content is geared for ages 13 and up!  We prefer you do this course with at least one other person.  Jesus sent them out 2 by 2 so there is something significant about journeying with another person.  The accountability is helpful to complete the processes if you get stuck!  If you struggle with insecurity, this is for you!  If you struggle with fear, this is for you!  If you struggle with not knowing your destiny, this is for you!   If you struggle with being bored to death, this is for you!   If you struggle with depression, this is for you!  If you struggle with your relationship with God, this is for you!  If you struggle to find purpose and passion, this is for you!  If you struggle with sin patterns, this is for you!   If you struggle with negative thinking patterns, this is for you!  Do you have kids that have yet to enter college, are in college, or out of college?  This is for them!  Do you have a crazy uncle who is always in trouble?  This is for him too!
